What happens when AI processes your document:
- Your audio or document is sent securely (TLS 1.2+) to Azure OpenAI in Canada Central
- The AI generates a transcription or report
- The result is returned to FieldCherry
- Azure OpenAI immediately discards your data — no copies, no logs, no training

No customer document content, audio recordings, or business data ever leaves Canada.
No. Multi-tenant isolation is enforced at every layer of the platform:
- Database: Every query includes a mandatory user-ID filter — you can only see your own data
- File Storage: Azure Blob Storage uses per-client encryption scopes for data isolation
- AI Knowledge Base: Search queries require a
parent_user_id+client_idfilter — there is no code path that skips it - API Authorization: All endpoints are protected with JWT authentication and role-based access control
FieldCherry employees do not have access to your business data. Our support business can only access system logs (not document content) for troubleshooting, and only with appropriate authorization.
You maintain full control of your data:
Upon Cancellation:
- 90-day grace period: Your data is preserved for 90 days after cancellation
- Full export: Download all your data (interventions, clients, report templates, recordings, photos) anytime during this period
- Reactivation: Resubscribe within 90 days to restore full access instantly
After 90 Days:
- All data is permanently deleted from our systems
- This includes audio recordings, photos, documents, and account information
- Deletion is irreversible and complies with data protection regulations
